Busy Weekend
It sure has been an interesting and busy few days. I got tired of sitting on the floor and trying to type so I finally got my tail going and unpacked the entire computer room. It by the way is the best looking room in the house at the moment! Very clean, well with the exception of Nathan's two Dr. Pepper and Monster can that sits on the desk. I tried to keep the computer room as simple as possible, but that is hard to do when you have a TV, cable box, 2 external drives, speakers, a telephone, wii console, a modem, a printer and I could go on and on. Some how I managed to pull it off.
So I am now about 11wks now and I seem to be feeling small spells of sickness throughout the days, but I will not complain because it isnt unbarable. I have never been a "big" sweets person. I can take one bite of chocolate and be good. HOWEVER, this baby DEMANDS chocolate! I wonder if that is a sign of a girl? All I know is that it is a constant chocolate battle.
Well, I tried to get a doctors appointment for next week, but guess what, they dont have me in the system yet and that it will take another two weeks to get the ok. So I guess I will be putting a hold on hearing the baby's heart beat for a little bit longer.
Things were so differnt with Reilly. With Reilly we lived at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Nathan was a medic and worked at a clinic there on base. So when the pregnancy test was postive, I wanted to make sure that it wasnt lying to me; so I went to the clinic that
Nathan worked at to get the most awesome medic in the world to take my blood for a pregnancy test. Now, I am not a needle person, but I thought it would be really cool to have Nathan draw my blood. I never forseen him missing my vein three times. I could tell he was really nervous about it being me. It was quite funny. Once it was done we found out that we were going to indeed have a baby. That was when I was seven weeks pregnant. I had my first OB appointment at 9wks and then again at 11wks. We knew Reilly was going to be a boy at 11wks. I couldnt even believe the doctor could tell, but he did. All I know is that the nurse said that particular doctor was very accurate AND he was!
So I am kinda having a hard time not getting to go to the doctor yet with this baby. Everything seems to be going smoothly so I will just
ride it out.
It is kinda hard to give deep thoughts on a blog when you have to boys playing Stars Wars and having to duck between every key stroke. So I am going to call it a night.
